Original GL trunklid @ Planet Hollywood New York in 1997?

Hi there everybody, I found several pictures on Gettyimages from 1997 of our 3 boys at the Planet Hollywood place downtown New York city. They are posing with what seems to be a used orange trunklid off of a 2nd generation Charger, the pictures are dated April 27, 1997, so taken after the filming of the 1st Reunion movie. Do you have any further info?

That’s pretty interesting... I’d like to know the story behind it as well. I wonder if it’s one of the decklids that Wayne recovered from WB along with the cars.

Yep Justin, since I didn't notice any tag on the decklid itself, I wasn't sure it was one of the parts sold by the Dodge Charger Registry or not. That's too bad I wasn't aware of this photo b4 last october, when I visited Planet Hollywood in New York city, I could have asked.
